Summary:

CA Antispyware is difficult to install and configure. We found it still better suited to corporate users, but CA is still developing their consumer product group. The good news is we found CA Antispyware to be competitive in finding and removing spyware and will do a good job of protecting your PC from spyware.

The latest release has new technology that blocks and removes Pop-Ups, and helps protect against phishing attacks.

Faster Scans
CA Antispyware has improved over last year's in scan speed, but it's still not as good as the leaders.

Real Time Scanning
Real Time scanning, advanced heuristic scanning and advanced email scanning are standard features on any anti-spyware software these days, and CA Antispyware's do not stand out from the leaders.

Technical Support
CA Antispyware has inadequate technical support for anyone except expert computer users and they probably don't need support for this product. As we said earlier in this review, CA is still working out the bugs on their consumer products group, and we expect their technical support to improve in time.
